A Pastor named Olamide Sobowale, of Glory Church of Christ Aladura, Oke-Itoku, Abeokuta Ogun State aged 46 years, has been jailed for allegedly raping a woman while she was having her bath in his church backyard.
The 30 years old Dupe Makinde who lives in Isaje Abeokuta was raped by the accused Pastor Sobowale who is now staged before a Magistrate Court sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta, yesterday,. She w as told by the Pastor to take her bath at the back of the Church which he says was part of the deliverance.
The woman who was still bathing and have soap on her face was dragged her out of the bathroom by the pastor and raped, the bathroom was within the church premises.
The accused Pastor Olamide Sobowale said that he had a vision about her and asked her to come to the church for a deliverance .

“This absurd act is contrary to section 357 and is punishable under section 358 of criminal code of law of Ogun State, Nigeria, 2006.” For now he is still at the prison and the case adjourned till September 16, 2013.
