The Nigeria National Basket Team, D’ Tigers yesterday, in the on-going African National Basket in Abidjan began its quest for glory by beating fellow West Africa side, Mali 79-64 points
London 2012 Olympic star, Ike Diogu was the Star of the match as he contributed 17 points, while fellow Olympic star, Farouk Aminu recorded 16 points to dominate the game.
It was hostility after the Afrobasket started Tuesday as the there was a historic win for the Mozamqiue team, while Senegal also triumph.
16 teams are competing for the ultimate price for the Afrobasket ball, 2013.
