Justin Bieber's tendency to not think too much of authority caught up with him one early morning in Miami when the 19 year old was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence while allegedly drag-racing.
He was then taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center for processing and he did spend a bit of time behind actual bars before posting bail. But before his release, what was jail like for the platinum-selling artist?
It was heard that he was considered a high-profile inmate, but he was not given special treatment while inside.
He was issued a red jumpsuit, indicating his status as high -profile per a colour-coding system used by the country, but was not set up for a long stay and therefore was not kept in the housing block but kept alone in a holding cell that was equipped with a bunk to sit on, but no mattress.
After his bond hearing, he was taken back to his holding cell to wait for his release. After the amount of $2,500 he was released.
Inside a waiting SUV, he waved to his fans and onlookers.
