James Avery born November 27, 1948 died on January 1, 2014. He is an American actor born in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
James Avery well known for his role as Will Smith's rich no-nonsense uncle in the soap Fresh prince of Bel-Air is dead at 65.
Avery amassed dozens of TV and film role over the years, including appearances on The Closer, That '70s Show and Grey's Anatomy.
