 The one year old girls from Nigeria Hussaina and Hassana  who were formerly conjoined has been successfullly seperated after an 18 hours surgery in India The seperation was a tasking one for forty (40) team specialists but at the end came out successful.
  The conjoined twins came with their back fused together which is  medically called  pygopagus was rare case but the specialists  saw to it that they came to a positive end.  After the Operation Hussaina and Hassana, sat happily,on their parents laps,
 The mother of the twins Malama Badariyya Badaru,  was full of joy  at finally being able to hold the girls  “individually”.Doctors at the new Delhi hospital were very excited seeing that the seperation went well
T surgery was carried out in three stages:(1)preparation, ( 2)separation and (3)  reconstruction of their shared organs which include the following: lower  ispine, lower intestinal and urinary tracts also their genitals.
The specialist practiced  this  using dummies. All tubes, wires, injections and drugs were colour-coded in pink or blue for each of the girls to avoid miss -ups or mistake   .
They were advised to stay in India because of the affordability of their medical services to enable them bring the girls for check-ups till their fit to come back to Nigeria.
